even back in the day with the old AS, site activity traditionally slowed to a crawl in late May/early June, as the universities ended the spring term and students went home to either dial-up connections or none at all and got press ganged into summer jobs. Things usually pick up in late August/early September when they flock back to school and easy broadband connections.

It would make an interesting study to scope out just how many students are members here as opposed to us old farts...
