Concerning the book of Plutarch’s life of Scipio Africanus Major, the staff at Amazonia wishes to inform M. Fabius that, regretfully, it cannot honour that particular request. It, together with its Greek counterpart, the life of Epaminondas, is to be found nowhere under the sun.
The fate of that set of biographies is a most intriguing and unfortunate mystery.
