For a bloke like me, there's many types of women. But I love them all. There's only one wife, though. Bigamy is not allowed in Rome and even a lover of life (fights, foods and [censored]) should make his choices, if he wants to live on a wee bit more and grow old enuff to see his family coming of age. So, there's only one wife and that's Eirene. The rest is just fun and this here place is just business. Good business. Makes lots of money. And we need that, if we want to give the twin boys everything they need and deserve. They deserve a good life. A life we never had when we was children. We both had to work hard as slaves, or nearly slaves, in my case. I didn't have an official dad and mum had to work hard to fend for the both of us. And you, my wee wife, you were a slave at an early age already, after having been taken away from yer home land and family.

So, I have to get the money in. And why not earn good money doing the things I'm good at? Fighting (on the Aventine), drinking (in the Subura), selling female favors (in the Subura) and .....Hmm, I should open a jewelry shop, some day, too. Because I happen to know a tad bit about gold as well. I have always been good at taking other people's gold. Sometimes, I lost it again, but I happen to have kept quite a bit of it, so I can make some money out of that, too.

Wot I'm trying to tell you, my wee dove, is that this is strictly business and you don't have to worry about a thing. Titus Pullo loves you. He will love you untill hell freezes over and even after that, if there is an "after that".....
