The people there are funny about their trees. Certain groves are absolutely sacred, of course, which is as it should be. Some of the trees are truly ancient and venerable. Their storytellers and singers are proficient beyond belief.
I liked their circular homes, and the roof of thatch. Nobody gets lost trying to find a tavern, Apil, since there appeared to be several in every town. If you miss the tavern in one street, you just stagger into the one in another street.
I went into some caves there among the high peaks, where the romans are mining for a metal called Lead. I tell you, I am glad I am not a miner.
The next time I travel to that land, I will go to the miraculous baths of Aquae Sulis in the south.
