Untitled Document
This
is an experimental layout for a larger display of a collection of Native
American baskets. I am trying to find a simple form for the exhibition
in which the baskets will not be obscured by the page design.
This object is a basket by Nancy Bradley. Cherokee basket, square-to-round
river cane basket, geometric designs with walnut or butternut root dye
on natural field, attributed to Nancy Bradley, Cherokee, North Carolina,
died 1963 (mother of the late Rowena Bradley).
Estimated value: $2,000 - $4,000
Basket last exhibited at Qualla Arts and Crafts Mutual in 2002.Visit The Qualla Cooperative at http://cherokee-nc.com/qualla_main.php? The current
provenance is unknown.

more successful and your comments will be appreciated.
