I hear a voice caling for Oengus.

I finished the cleaning, and since there were materials available for my work, I lit the forge and started to work. The voice was faint over the sounds I am making, so I put aside the metal and go to see who it is.

Outside is Una Brigantes with a beautiful black horse. "Hello, Una. Oengus is not here yet, is there anything I can do for you?" I move close and stroke the horses nose. "My, he is a beauty! Did you buy him lately?"

Una looks disappointed. "This is Sabio, an Iberian. He started favouring his left forleg on the way home. I was hoping Oengus could see to it. The shoe is broken, so he needs a new one."

"I usually do the fine metal work but I am a trained blacksmith - trained by Oengus. I can re-shoe Sabio, if you wish. Before that is done, though, I'd need to examine his hoof, just to make sure it isn't damaged".
