Having spent a lot of time searching for what I thought were good groups and paying to join them (under my various personae) I am disappointed that some of the group leaders (in my case) do not visit their groups hardly at all, nor welcome a new member or promote me so I can at least post. I feel cheated in a way. And not only me. Im sure there are others who feel the same way but havent said anything. I have joined arts of the ancient world and I still cant even post there, nor been welcomed so whats the point. I would like to suggest that group leaders hand the reins over to someone else (an AW regular) to manage the group if real life commitments take them away from AW. I think this is fair considering there is one choice per citizen and its paid for from their cashbox. It is such a shame that some people want to set up a group and then dont interact with it after a while. Another group Im considering resigning from is Arms and Armour (under one of my personae) as I have been the only person posting there for a while and its pretty boring talking to myself and getting no interaction. I really think this needs to be addressed or discussed seriously. Im sure there are many people who dont bother coming back to AW when they have these experiences and it must be a disappointment to them as well. But luckily I love AW enough to want to stay... Some feedback here would be good.
