It is great to get some real information about these things. It adds so much. I have never attended a powwow, but do hope sometime to get the opprotunity. The closest I think was somekind of boy scout thing. They like to immitate the Native American traditions. I think it is a part of the national psyche. I think it may even seem strange to the genuine Native Americans, but there is a kind of affinity of spirit that is inherent to the place of your birth. People all over the world have a fascination with the cultures indigenous to the Americas.
