I saw the Rome graphic in the companel and did a little investigating and ended up here.

I actually like it a LOT! The colours that you have chosen work well together. It's simple with out being overdone. I haven't checked out the other ones yet, but I'm sure that with any contest, judges have an extremely hard time trying to choose. *G*

I will however disagree with you on the one about using the other plaques that were made. Whilst each one is probably a worthy winner, the judges chose your plaque to represent the festival. Any color schemes that are chosen should co-ordinate with your plaque. If several plaques are used, any colour schemes used might not be that appealing.

Since our knowledge of styling the thread headers has increased, the most visited events have usually been where threads and/or hoods are visually striking and well co-ordinated in color and have a theme running through the event graphics.

Anyway, that is my two ses worth. *G* I hope that Rome's birthday bash will be a great success regardless of what graphics are used! lol :D
