Then, as Trimalchio Lucretius, I joined the AncientSites community. Wonderful. Here I encountered wise and intriguing new intellectual foils such as BigFrank, Arcadia, Strabo and the boy Geoff. That was one heavy community of knowledge and humour: privileged to have been a part of it, TBH...

Then AS changed forever, but surely for the better, for I was able to join the fantastic Petvines! Here I spent evenings talking to an old lady in Wisconsin about when and how to wipe one's West Highland terrier's anus.... oh, such salad days!!
