Valerius heartbeat was accelerated and his cheeks went red when he learned that he will be seeing his beloved Philandros in a short time, he had rewarded his slaves very handsomely so much that his brother Marcus Minus had protested against the fact with their father, those jars of wine were far too good to be spoiled in slaves he had said, but Marcus Domicius always prone to encourage slaves to loyalty dismissed the fact as of little important.
Valerius and Marcoria had started talking to eachother again but they had never again mentioned that night when she had attempted to seduce him, how absurd it sounded in Valerius' mind trying to seduce a man that would fall only for other men, this whole affaire had led to the unfair accusation against Valerius, had it not be for Silas and Yanguru, Marcus Minus would have attempted to kill Valerius when he too misunderstood the whole thing, the gods have a strange sence of humor.
Valerius caressed tenderly the scy blue Chiton that Philandros had bought for him, he would use it only in special ocations like when he would welcome Philandros back in his fathers house, Valerius adoptive mother Clunis had -with the time- had resigned to have no granchildren from Valerius and had returned to her loving and caring self, though now she seem to be a bit more attentive to Marcus Minus, and Minus walked in the house self confident again as if he owned the place the Minus-Valerius relationship could only be called as respectful but by no means loving or brotherly.
