Everyone here knows that no one is trying to be insensitive to slavery but it was a part of Egyptian life. Therefore it's presence should be included (my opinion). Also, it would add to the overall RP especially if someone wants to play this role. We must let people excercise their creative liberty.
The topic, of course, is open for debate. Personally I'm all for people jumping into the RP with all of their diverse characters. It makes for more interesting reading and adds players to the storyline.
While it's true that the topic of slavery is sensitive to some, we can't re-write history and erase it.
