It had all being a massacre, Bruno had being blinded by a luminary and heard Hymie Weiss voice, after that bullets started to rain on them, the windshield stopped several tommy gun bullets, Bruno and the men in the car dared to open a bit their windows to make a few shots, but the situation was swiftly spinning out of control, the Siders of all denominations shoot the trucks and the cheap Whiskey caugth fire, the trucks crashed one another, shreds of glass flew everywhere, men running everywhere trying to escape the ambush, corpses were strewn everywhere, at some moment he thought he had seen Vincenzo hidden in a corner shooting a couple Gennas with a Thompson but it was no time to think on the traitor he needed to stay alive, the very worst of all this crescendo was that strident laugher of Weiss as he shoot his Thompson.

Some car on the front tryed to run over Weiss but the driver of that car was surly blinded cause he was driving some ten feet to the left of him, still a truck crashed it against the wall, another car hit a couple Siders before bursting into flames, Bruno realized that he was loosing too much men too quickly so he did what any mobster will do in a situation like this, he simply left the car and ran as fast as he could, on his shoulder he could clearly see now that Vincenzo and his friend Henry were re-shooting the wounded Gennas, he didn't care about the Gennas but he still wanted his revange against Vinnie, he got his Rugger .45 ready and before reaching the safety of the nearest alley he made a quick spin yelling "Vendettaaaa" and shoot twice, missed one shot the other hit that Henry guy.

"Damn it I missed the shot" he yelled peering out the alley, "Cut it off Bruno your giving out our position" yelled a Genna before getting hit by a bullet, Bruno and the others ran down the alley and into Oak Park Ave, running south trying to get to Chicago River, Bruno knew they were being followed arriving to the docks he saw some Irish West Siders shooting into the waters of Chicago River for the Gennas who were trying to escape swimming, he hid behind some huge dock cargo and waited, hopping the Siders wont find him.
