Bruno was directing this liquor traffic operation into the territory of the North & West Siders Gangs territory, crossing the river north in Cicero Ave and a few blocks west, there's W. Ogden Ave, that's where Bruno and the Geenas were storing the beer and hard liquors, right under the nose of that Polish guy Weiss, the leader of the North Siders, Bruno had always told Capone and Torrio it was a bad idea doing so due the constant confrontations with the Siders but they wouln't listen.

A caravan of liquor trucks were heading W Ogden Ave guarded by several cars with armed man, Bruno had choosen not to be at the front of the row, he knew sooner or later there will be a setup and the Polish & Irish guys will take their revange, he just didn't expect it to be this very night; Capone had provided them with the best Thompson Submachine guns and the best cars with bullet-proof windshields, (something new in those days), still there will be much bloodshed that night.

Just arriving to W Odgen Ave everything still looked calm, little did they know that a whole army of Siders were hidden in the various abandonated buildings and werehouses roofs, but they wouldn't attack just yet and rick that the trucks at the bottom of the line will escape, like in war they will wait till they have the enemy completely surrounded.

Bruno looked everywhere always suspecting an attack but he saw nothing to be worry about, he lighted a cigar to calm his nerves, in an hour all the liquor will be safely stored in the warehouses and they would go back to their side of the river, but he was being a bit too much optimistic, they were walking into a trap that they will never forget.
