Pullo, here's a much better site on Roman games—or I should say one game in particular: Ludus Duodecim Scripta, a likely ancestor of backgammon. Here, you can design your own board and even play (against others or against the computer.
Apparently, Romans were fond of marking off their boards with letters instead of numbers, and these often spelled out rude messages. I just couldn't help but think of you, contemplating the following:
