This episode was both satisfying and sad.
On the first, it is somewhat nice to see Atia (yeah, I know, totally inaccurate, but still sinfully delicious) finally get some come-upance. Also, it was nice to see the political machinations of Octavian continue. However, the best part was to see just a glimmer of Livia coming into the scheming bitch we all know and love from Suetonius and I, Claudius.
On the second, we are forced to confront the fact that there is just one more episode in this series. I suspect more numbers than we would care to admit will be going through something close to crack withdrawal.
Oh, and BTW, Gaia deserved her fate. Yeah, you got that right, bitch (Gaia, not anyone here).
