I must warn everybody that I do not measure for the most part, I grew up in a family of 10 or more and now I cook for four people and so, I usually make too much, so if you make too much you can freeze it too. I came up with this recipe when I had left over pot roast.
Take left over Pot Roast put it in a slow cooker, add vegetable and or tomato juice (big can)
Some fresh cabbage
Carrots
celery
3-5 potato's
Tomato soup
Add altogether and let cook, til tender then add corn, peas, and grean beans, I also like to add some spinache it gives me those popeye muscles, lol
My hubby has high blood pressure, so when I want to season the soup, it's light and with Mrs.Dash table blend. It's good stuff, if you try it, I hope you like it and my recipe
