I recently spent a Saturday watching all three of the movies in Hiroshi Inagaki's Samurai Trilogy. it made for a long day, but watching them back-to-back meant I could more easily follow the storyline.

One annoying part to the whole thing: there is one female character (name escapes me) who seems to cry throughout the whole of the three movies. Other than that, it was pretty good. I would recommend the series to anyone.
