Halikarnassos - or Halicarnassus or modern day Bodrum, Turkey in Greek Asia Minor.
Possible districts or points of interest would be:
the old dockyard and arsenal point since it was a major port (and currently possesses the oldest underwater wreck dive site in the world. Sunken ships dating back 1000 years)
Castle of St. Peter
the Hamam or Bath
the Mausoleum
Greek Antique Theatre
Myndos Gate
Other possible districts along the Bodrum pennisula:
Myndos - a mining settlement of silver created by King Mausolos
Pedasa - a Typical Leligion town including a citadel, main keep, ramparts and gate.
Turgut - small village known for growing figs
Yalikavak - fishing village - main catch is sponge fish.
If there is any interest, please let me know and I can supply further information.
