Lead time is important and in the begining we may miss some opportunities. My expertise is with newspapers but I'll bet that the lead time isn't as critical for events announcements in magazines as it is for articles. Mailings will be sent to all as information is confirmed. If we hit we hit. If we miss, it cost us nothing to try.

I am also working on offering The Symposion as a teacher's resource for ancient history in the middle school to university level. An article I wrote for AW is currently in use as a teachers resource at a university in England and this might work as well. Any contacts along that line would be useful.
