Glad to read all the explanations of historical accuracy in these messages, though. This series is an interesting and original retelling of the transition from the Roman Republic to the Empire.
I recall reading that coins were place on the eyes of the dead and/or in the mouth as fare to the netherworld. Or am I imagining? I was kind of disappointed not to see this.
Loved the contrast between the lives of the patricians and the plebeians, though...
