    His highness comes in for a horn of fine warm mead at his favorite new local social hub. He chats amicably with nobles and peasants alike, about everything from his next planned translations of Latin texts into Anglisc, to the current price of wheat. As his gracious host brings mead and bread, which AElfred shares with those around him, he thanks Widsiš for his hospitality.

I am well pleased with all the busy preparations and construction taking place here in our fair land of Wessex. It is shaping up to be the Place To Be in England--for Yule and after. :-)
