Kon heard the commotion and grimly stood as he saw Dallas shoved forcibly out of the kitchen and the cook take a swing at him. "Now he's done it!" thought Kon, as the cook connected squarely to the face of the Frisian.
Kon saw Dallas still crouching on the floor out of the way as the cook went back to her goose. He looked at Kon and shrugged as if to say, "What did I do??" Kon just shook his head and glared at Dallas grimly. He mentally ran through what he knew of the hospitality laws and hoped that their meal would still occur.
He thought to make his way over to the Frisian to help him up, even as the Frisian found help from one of the woman. As he started over, Kon had to walk by the table occupied by the two women talking to the Berserker. The smaller one, her hair streaked with silver, adjusted the furs she was wearing, exposing her leg. It about stopped Kon in his tracks. He found himself staring at the most shapely leg he had ever seen. It was both smooth and muscular and seemed to be something sent from the Goddess just for him.
As he wondered "Who was she?", the sight of her leg, distracted him so much that Kon found himself walking forward staring backward. And so he tripped over a bench. As he did so, he caught his sword and tried to correct for it. Instead of correcting as he'd planned, Kon found himself in mid-air. With a smack he landed unsteadily, running right into the groggy Frisian, and both fell on top of Dallas. From his spot on the floor, tangled up in the bodies, Kon made eye contact with Dallas and glared at him grimly.
