I have posted this also on the main Egypt board, but would like to share it specially with the Women of the Two Lands. I have just been to the Museum of Egyptology in Turin, Italy, where, among many other fascinating exhibits, there is a display of statuettes of the Cat Goddess Bastet (including one of her with kittens). I was very happy to be able to pay her my respects.
