The main reason I've always wanted to go to Cairo is that I presumed that they must have the best Egyptian museums in the world. But from looking at this list, not an Egyptian museum in the lot! Have so many artifacts, then, been taken from Egypt and ended up in foreign lands? And how do the Egyptians feel about this - is it like the Elgin Marbles controversy?
