Apparently I am an Each-Uisge, haunting the lakes and rivers of the British Isles. Yes, I have to admit that I like living by My Lake in Caledonia, but to say I haunt it goes a bit too far ....
Also being called a "Water-Horse" puts me in a bit of an identity crisis. *shakes head in confusion* I've always been told I am a Dragon :o and one of the Rubycoloured variety at that :) But, nowadays, there aren't many left of my species. No one I know off anyway ... so who can I compare to?
Just to let you all know, my scales aren't "black with a greenish patina". They are glistening indeed, because I like to keep those purty rubyred scales shiny *G* but I don't think it's bad if one likes to keep up appearances *picking my tooth with a sharp glistening nail*. Oh and prey?? Satanic predatorial-ecstacy devouring? What's that? And what's that about one not eating the liver? Don't you know that the liver is the best part of it all? Full of iron and other nutrients one needs to keep fit and healthy. Not to chase the little hume-people, they all came willingly although I have no idea why they sometimes tied them to a stake ... but that was in days long gone. No adhesives needed here. Besides, that is sticky and tastes weird.
Nowadays it is a diet of mutton and beef for this one, since the little hume-people don't visit me anymore as they used to. No pork though, it makes me itch too much.
I do apologize for any inconvenience my 'complaining' might cause, but I blame my identity-crisis for that ...
*A horse! A horse is food, not scary at all! Even when they're green and slimy!*
