I have a Black Labrador Retriever named Bridjette at the moment.
My deceased Husband wanted to name her Jette because she was Black. I suggested Bridjette. I picked her out and I wanted to name her, but I also wanted to him to understand that I used some of his name.

Before I had a Black Ladrador Retriever named Megan. She came with us from Pennsylvania to our new home in Maryland. Finally, her quality of life was very bad. Hardly could move around. When it appeared to be the time, the Vet came to the house and put her to sleep. I was with the poor thing right until the end. I petted her until the Vet took her away for creamation. I have her ashes with me always.

If Bridjette goes, I will get another Black Labrador. I hope she remains with me for many years.
