This was found in 1786 during the demolition of an old wall in one of the gardens adjacent to the Ospedale del Celio. It is an inscription by L. Mummius Achaicus (cos. 146 BC) dedicated to the Temple of Hercules Victor from Achaean war booty, on a slab of peperino measuring 0.55 x 0.60 m.
