This is one of the best 'teaching projects' I've seen - I've always thought kimonos were lovely, but I had no clue of the delicacy, art, meaning, and significance of the many styles. I'm glad to know, in this machine mass-produced age, that the traditional kiminos are still being made (even if they DO cost as much as a car!)
