Edu stood there like a giant stone statue with his arms folded. Men sidestepped him and women gave him the eye. His master had told him to meet him here at the tavern but so far he had not shown up. It was most likely that he was still inside. Being a slave Edu could not enter the tavern on his own and so he stood there waiting for his master to emerge.
