I want to thank antoninus for his post. In effect, I am very interested in the figure of Talleyrand and always wanted to read something more about it. Nevertheless always found boring and too prosalic books on him. I like much more the historical books written a bit more like a novel.

I hope to get soon this book and if possible in italian language. I want really to get a better and deeper knowledge about this legendary man.

I have seen an excellent movie about him. It is ' "LE SOUPER" ' , by EDOUARD MOLINARO , FRANCE.

It is an excellent movie about the napoleone 's fall after waterloo and the dinner between Fouche' and Talleyrand discussing all the night about their interests and the powers of the future france governement. Excellent.
