This turnip, was carried around by my pappy and his pappy too. Matter of fact (keep this hush-hush), this turnip is said to be a direct line of the prized turnips that Alexander the Great carried with him from Macedonia to India and was brought all the way back. If you think that is grand, you should see my head of cabbage. It's a dead-ringer for the head of Julius Caesar. Kind of strange, eh? *elbow, elbow* They say this cabbage came all the way from Londinium to prove that we conquered Britannia. I think all it proved was that we didn't want to conquer Britannia. Makes you wonder about the origin of the Caesar's salad.
