The sites of the two exhibitions I saw last week in Ravenna:
Santi Banchieri Re (Saints Bankers Kings): large mosaics and manuscripts, a bronze aqueduct pipe with the stamp of Theodoric (which for some reason had really impressed me the other time when I saw it at the National Museum), statues, among which a really lovely dyptych of Amalaswintha, and even the famous Medallion of Senigallia... if it wasn't a copy.
Domus of the Stone Carpets (also here, both sites in Italian), the remains of a 6th century villa.
