    but I did just finish the book.

    a few thoughts of my own ~
    1. the book wasn't any great literary feat as far as writing style.
    2. there's lots of esoteric info in there that many people will not be able to relate to without previous knowledge (i.e., references to astrology, tarot, secret orders, etc.).
    3. I found myself skipping over the descriptions of places and buildings. what can I say? I got bored. *grin*
    4. the characters weren't deep enough for what was going on plot-wise. sometimes I felt like smacking Sophie upside the head. *lol* but it was suspenseful in its own way.

    I'll see the movie at some point, but just not in a rush to do so. Its one that you rent for a quiet weekend when its gonna be raining and you can't work out in the yard or have a cook-out. I just wouldn't pay to go see it at the theaters.
