    I've run into this time and time again. It can get to be quite discouraging....hence, my big lag times between rp posts.

    I find that going back through the older rp posts helps (to see how others are approaching it). Books, movies, research are all good ones, too, as mentioned before.

    Sometimes, just sheer imagination gets me through...but that's tougher than some other routes. *grin*

    In most of my rp experiences I'm sure it would have helped lots more to have a writing partner (the best fun I've had with rp here was in West of Eden at the G-Spot with Mesk *lol*). Most times I've kinda just improvised. That gets lonely after a short while, and then I drift away...losing momentum and interest. My own issue, not anyone else's.

    perhaps we could create a "Writing Partner Wanted" classifieds section here and make it prominent on the main group page? I know I'm in some rp's I'm just stalled in, and would love the collaborative creative kick-start to move forwards. :)
