First moon landing - I stayed up forever, hoping Neil Armstrong would just get out of that cooped-up spacecraft, and walk. I was then put to bed before it happened, but Dad woke me up when they were finally about to walk the moon. This was something like 2 or later in the a.m. (we were in Europe at the time).
