'Spider oh spider
spin me a web'
'How do you want it'
Asked she instead.
'From doorframe to porch ledge
and under the chair'
'How do you want it
my little one fair?'
'Covered with diamonds of a
new day dew--
Drifting in the breeze
of which there are few--'
'How do you want it
come hither and say'
'Make it all
within one day.'
'How do you want it
inspect it' said she.
'And I did very closely
--til it grabbed me'
'Alas, my little one
you seem to be dazed'
And he was, that fly, as the spider did graze--on him........
