I think it is very important to select a breed that is right for you before getting a dog. It's also a good idea to do a LOT of research on the dog you like. After doing research, you may decide that breed isn't right for you. I did a ton of research on Scottish Terriers before getting Max. I knew what I was getting into before I got into the thick of it. LOL

And I love that site, Calpurnia! It says that an Irish Terrier is the right kind of breed for me. Hmmmm...maybe in about 10 years or so. One terrier at a time, please! LOL
