my son and I lost our mic at one point while trying to record in Audacity. we couldn't figure out what had happened, since we didn't change any settings at all! we managed to get it working again, but no clue how we did it. *lol* when we first started messing with this recording schtuff (=when we got crazier than normal! *g*) we couldn't record either. finally, I realized that the demmed mic has an on/off switch. *roflmao* I hope ya getting it working soon!!
