A few questions...

1) I would like to know more about this fictional king. Is there a basic description of this non-player character, or is it up to the players to determine who he is exactly?

2) Does the action take place in Budapest, or elsewhere? Will there be one story thread, or multiple? I've seen it work both ways. Often, it's kept down to one thread to keep the boards tidy. Then each person posting can include a header, saying exactly where the action is taking place. This also makes the story more linear, rather than having to chase down the previous post on some other thread.

3) You mentioned that action may take place at court and beyond. Is there a roughly written schema of the roleplay environment, or is this up to the players to help develop throughout the course of the roleplay? And this segues into my final question:

4) How much should be developed in this planning thread prior to beginning the story?
