I've fallen behind on my reading a bit, but in the past couple of weeks I've been able to finish a bio on Athenais de Montespan, a mistress of Louis XIV, and a bio on Nell Gwynn, a mistress of Charles II for those that aren't familiar with her name. In progress is that Cleopatra bio that is a beating, a book on poisons, another on torture and execution and then another covering the French monarchy just prior to the Revolution and their political position.
I have to admit, I haven't been reading much ancient history lately, but that'll change soon enough. Whatcha reading in specific, Akmed?
