Okay, I nearly choked on that, but I meant Audacity software... I downloaded version 1.2.4 to my Mac G5 and have looked at the various help topics, but cannot find the answer to this question. How do I designate the input device? The mixer toolbar is supposed to have a dropdown menu, but it is grayed-out, and I cannot figure out what to do. In the meantime, I recorded a very brief snippet of Latin using Garage Band and saved it as an AIFF file. I can play it back in Audacity and edit it, and even export it as an MP3 file. However, before I tackle embedding the file in an HTML document, I need to know a more direct way of recording using Audacity. Did I miss the boat somewhere? By the way, I still cannot access the audio tutorial. Thanks for any help!
