Some of you know me as Aevalle. I've resurrected an ancient character from Ancient Sites, just for this group.

I'm rather excited to see the group established. I feel rather like I'm a beginner with all this computer technology who's been put into a sink or swim situation. (I started a Ph. D. program last fall in Instructional Design and Tech and have been working in the Online Learning Lab at the university, so you might say its full emersion therapy!)

Its great to see how all this can be used interactively on the web--and AW seems to be the perfect place for experimentation (on so many levels, both educationally and recreationally).

So thanks for the warm welcome and I'll see you on the boards!
