Looking at him, her brow raised carefully, "I think we better take gear. Sun's down; reports of an avalanche. Don't want to get caught out there alone." "Right," Colin agrees. "I'll go for the gear- you keep watch that the coast is clear?" "Do you think I am going to let you pick what I'll be wearing if I freeze to death?" She smirked at him, giving a poke at his nose. "I'll get the gear, you keep watch."

"Fine," Colin replies, drawing his pistol. "But you have five minutes, then I'm coming after you." With those words spoken, he ducks around the corner, keeping watch. Laughed softly, slipping out of the room. She grabbed her coat at the check and went to the front desk, "I'll need to rent everything for a little cross country trek. Just charge it to my suite... for two. Yes, he is lucky." Runs up the stairs and she'd grab them some clothes and ditch the heels. God, when was a girl going to get in that vacation?

Colin paced downstairs, but quickly holstered his gun when he saw a guest approaching him. "I am looking for Katlyne," the woman spoke kindly. "Where did she head off to?" "I don't know," Colin lied. "But you were just talking to her," the woman replied with a frown. "It looked like she went upstairs- maybe I'll go this way and find her..." "Wait!" Colin replied, grabbing her hand and swinging her around, thinking fast. "Um... we haven't... danced yet?"

A few things for Colin and something for me… throwing them into a backpack, which gets tossed out the broken window. A pair of ski boots and a sweater later and she was running down the hall. Stopping short when she got a look at Colin cutting a rug with some chippie. Her eyes catching his with a just with in the hell do you think you're doing look. She point towards the empty room and duck inside.

"Ow- um, Charlie horse, here-" Colin grabs an escort across the floor. "You take over for me ol' chap." Colin feigned a leg cramp and made his way to the empty room to the glare of Kat. "Trust me- I had to do it to keep cover."

Tossing a coat at him, "If we are going to be partners, maybe we better get one thing straight. Playtime is always second." She'd pulls on her gloves and pushes open the window, slipping out of it. "Our gear will be at the side entrance. I got us the works. We're doing a little cross country."

Colin lets her comment slide, although it angered him. "Fine," he replied sourly, following her out of the window. "Follow me." Sighing, she'd look at him "Sorry, I just can’t get emotional about a partner. Not that I knew I had one." She said it with a little reluctance, grabbing up the pack she'd tossed out the window, "You're warmer gear is in here... I'll get the skis" "Ha," Colin threw at her as she turned to walk away. "Emotional? Sweetheart, come on- I'm over it."

Looked back over her shoulder, "Right, darling. There's nothing going on between us. Just another assignment." She flashed a rather cruel smile before turning the corner. He just found himself a storm front coming. "Assignment," he threw at her again, following. "I don't remember you being assigned to my case. As far as I'm concerned, you're a liability."

Turning, she'd meet his eyes, "That was my thought exactly. This is my detail. You go making eyes and playing me like I am your little project. News flash, I'm a Six agent. Not your little pet project."

"I never said anything of the sort," Colin replied, not backing down, meeting her gaze. "As far as making. eyes, that was all part of the job, and you being a pet project, that's all over, here and now. Six agent or not this is my territory and it's my ass on the line if word gets out that I couldn't get the job done."

“You listen up, little boy. I am assigned to keeping Odin alive. You mess that up, you won’t worry about your job," she hissed through a clenched jaw, her eyes flashing. "I didn’t spend years training to take a back seat on my job. So we figure out how to work together, or you get off my mountain." “Fine," Colin hissed back. "We'll work it together, but don't you think for one minute princess that you're the boss of me here or that this is just your turf- it's partnership, 100% or nothin."

Smirked at him, "If that’s the way you want it. But you remember that I am his assignee. I want you gone, you'll be back on the bunny slopes." Colin frowned but let it pass. "Get the ski's. I'll meet you back here in 3 minutes, geared up and ready to move out." Snorted, which was definitely not Princess like, "Make it 2. I don’t want to keep you from your playmates." Trudged off towards the side entrance, muttering something about pompous egomaniacs. Colin shook his head, storming off for the winter gear, muttering something about overemotional females. Little did they know that the felon was watching every move they made....
