BF Skinner threw free will out the window. We are so programmed both before birth and afterwards that it would be difficult to say which of our actions are voluntary and which are simply conditioned reflexes.

And since the press feeds us predigested news, how can we make up our minds about any issue? Obtaining the truth would require resources beyond our means. Even Pilate understood the difficulty when he said, "What is truth?" in his cynical Roman way.
