I meant to post this yesterday, but was sidetracked. Chak and I have volunteered the Green Papaya to participate in the Thousand Year Faire. If you aren't familiar with what this event is, check out the links below:

This link is for the thread itself:

This link gives a rough idea of what we can do to participate:

This link is for the timeline so this will reflect what time-range we'd be looking at:

In the current timeline Marduk refers to the Khmer Empire specifically, but that doesn't restrict us to merely that. We could present on any of the cultures our group covers, providing they fit the time-range. In fact, if you have a specific event in mind that fits nicely in there, let Marduk know and he'll add it to the timeline. *g* I would like to assure everyone that just because we volunteered the group, the members aren't required to participate. Chak and I made sure we'd be able to participate if no one else had the time. *g* Speaking of which, the tenative date(s) for this Faire is around May 11th - it will actually be held over a few days, however many are necessary, but I believe it's starting on the 11th so that gives ample time for preparations.

That said, would anyone like to participate and if so, what method do you think would be the best for representing the Green Papaya and our cultures? *g*
