Going back to the cursed IE, I do seem to have had a past life - as a male mechanical handicraftsman, in Turkey of all places, around 1175. So what did a mechanic work on in 1175?

It said I've always liked to travel and that because I like to investigate, I might have been a detective or a spy. If any of that came over into this life, it will be a help in solving the murder of the Magistrate.

The lesson I've supposedly learned, or am yet to learn, is that of "developing and expanding my mental consciousness". Whatever that means. Sounds like psychobabble to me. But when I find this teacher I'm supposed to be looking for, I guess it all will become clear.
