Here is a link to a review of Square Enix's CG Movie based on the popular game series: Final Fantasy VII Advent Children -- from renderosity.com

I saw this at the last anime convention that I went to -- yes I go to those things. I am a geek! Here me roar! *snickers*

I have to say, the quality of the CG work was very impressive. Especially the way the characters are done. They retain some anime characteristics, but manage to look realistic as well. I was especially impressed by the hair, and the way it floats along when the characters move. I think after awhile they started making hair move randomly -- especially Tifa's -- just because they could. I can't say much for the plot though, as I am not familiar with the game that it was based on. But it was enough for me to see the fab CG effects, so I can say that I did enjoy it. :)
