Whoohoo, I get to leave the first post on this thread, LOL OK, I was researching for an article and found this great website that's entirely dedicated to one of the oldest, if not the oldest, South American civilization, that of Caral - Supe. It's available in Spanish, English and German, but some pages are only available in Spanish so far:
