to what everyone here who has spoken. What needs to happen is maybe a more of a welcome. Many times a newb to AW joins a group with lots of energy. They start posting lots of interesting posts and finds that everyone is dormant. with no reply. No one makes a comment or anything. It's pretty dissapointing when you think about it. Once that happens you start to lose your interest and like everyone else who have tried just sort of fall into the shadows and wait for a miracle. Nothing happens for a while and you start never bothering to check the group or even AW. Of course, that doesn't happen to every group but then again that does to some.
I find that maybe if you give an unofficial welcome in there messages with other nice greetings and conversation topics, they get into the group a lot. Like in Deliver Us From Evil, everyone jumps at the newcomer and messages them about happenings in DUFE and other things. It seems like everyone active in DUFE knows everyone else. :) And I like it very much that way...
